An independent operatic filmed scene, which rehearsed in under 12 collective hours, and was filmed in four. This was an independent micro-budget project and proof of concept for future directing ideas, with the final product intended to serve as quality samples of performance work for all collaborators. The process from conception to filming took place in Santa Fe, NM, spread over 6 weeks. Audio remastering and editing were finished in the following three months, resulting in a nearly 10-minute long completed scene. Nearly all spaces, time, and tools were volunteered or donated. The final piece debuted on December 1st, 2022, and is currently viewable on YouTube, under the title La bohème, Act III Aria (“Donde lieta uscì”) & Quartet (“Dunque è proprio finita”).
